Java_Groovy Specialist ***HIRING IMMEDIATELY*** (Cairo, Egypt)

LOCATION: Cairo, Egypt

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for designing and creating technical specifications from functional specifications for complex development projects; analyze the impacts of vendor-provided updates and upgrades to the system; program solutions using JAVA Enterprise Edition (J2EE)
  • Managing large scale applications implemented using Groovy
  • Upgrading Groovy and Java versions for existing applications
  • Lead moderate to highly complex programming tasks and provides code reviews of various development tasks.
  • Postgres Knowledge is a plus

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Engineer or Computer Science
  • Minimum of 5 years experience using JavaEE/Groovy/Grails
  • Fluent English written and spoken
  • Groovy/Grails experience is must
  • Experience in upgrading Groovy and Java versions for existing applications is a must
  • Unix / Linux experience
  • Hands on development of applications and services.
  • Hands on experience of implementing and managing security for large-scale applications
  • Proficient in Database and SQL
  • Flexibility – adapts and works effectively with a variety of situations, individuals or groups
  • Planning and organizing – able to think ahead in order to establish an efficient and appropriate course of action
  • Creative and Analytical thinking – able to simplify complex problems, processes or projects
